Abstract:
PURPOSE:To shift a thrust to an aeropropeller gradually as being used jointly with the aeropropeller and thereby perform a stable, nonwasting takeoff, by housing a marine propeller in a duct and unfolding a cover of the duct as a hydrofoil. CONSTITUTION:An inlet cover C1 and an outlet cover C2 of a duct are unfolded open, and both these covers C1 and C2 are adjusted to an angle of elevation commensurate to speed while controlling an attitude in balancing both forward and lateral directions. And, these inlet and outlet covers of the duct are unfolded as a hydrofoil, controlling this in addition, whereby a running attitude is controlled, and a thrust is shifted to an aeropropeller gradually as being used jointly with the aeropropeller, thus a stable, nonwasting takeoff takes place. After the takeoff, these inlet and outlet covers of the duct cover the inlet and the outlet both, thus such a boat body as being the fewest in air resistance is secured.
