Title:
DULL FINISHED METALLIC SHEET
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0663602
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make handling during manufacturing work easy and to improve press formability and image clarity after coating by approximately uniformly distributing recessed parts of which the bottoms are made into flat mirror faces on the surface of a metallic sheet and specifying the surface roughness in the peripheral part.

CONSTITUTION: On the surface of a dull finished metallic sheet, the bottom faces of recessed parts 4 are flat mirror faces and these recessed parts 4 are approximately uniformly distributed, so a lubricating oil for press working is catched with these recessed parts 4 on the whole of worked face at the time of press working. Then, this dull metallic sheet has a good press formability. And, the bottom faces of these recessed parts 4 are flat and mirror faces, so image clarity after coating is excellent. By raising the area rate of the recessed parts 4, the image clarity after coating that is not at all inferior to that of the metallic sheet of a bright sheet which is dull finished is attained. Further, by taking the peripheral parts 6 which surround the recessed parts 4 of the dull finished metallic sheet as the surface roughness Ra of 0.3 to 1.0μm, fine scratches are inconspicuous even when they are formed on the surface.
