Title:
DUMMY GPS SIGNAL SENDING OUT SYSTEM OF REFERENCE STATION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3187222
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To eliminate the effect of a GPS time monitor error on distance measuring accuracy.
CONSTITUTION: A monitor GPS receiver Al receives the GPS signal from each GPS satellite through an antenna A2 to detect satellite data and calculates observation data on the basis of the user clock pulse synchronized with the reference clock from a reference oscillator A3. A data processor A4 calculates a error value from the satellite data and observation data obtained in the receiver A1 on the basis of the user clock pulse and perform formatting with respect to those data to form transmission data. A transmitter A5 synthesizes a PN code and the transmission data on the basis of the user clock pulse to form a dummy GPS signal and modulates the carrier wave signal synchronized with the reference clock and amplifies the modulation output thereof. An antenna A6 is directed to a specific stationary satellite and sends out a dummy GPS signal to a user GPS receiver through the stationary satellite.
