Abstract:
To provide a method for carrying out wrinkling or pleating of a cellulosic fiber structure, capable of imparting wrinkles or pleating excellent in durability to a cellulosic fiber structure without using a finishing agent and accompanying lowering of the strength and capable of applying also to dyed products and printed products.
This method for carrying out durable wrinkling or pleating comprises subjecting a cellulosic fiber structure to liquid ammonia treatment and then carrying out wrinkling or pleating treatment and subjecting the structure to steaming treatment at 98°C to 150°C.
