To provide a dust collecting adapter to accumulate dust in a dust collecting hose guiding dust generated by a tip tool to a dust collector.
A dust collecting cover 32 and a hose adapter 41 constitute a dust collecting adapter 30 that is installed on a disk grinder. A dust collecting fan 31 which is rotation-driven by a driving source such as an electric motor, driving a grinding wheel, as a tip tool, generates a dust airflow in an inside flow passage of the hose adapter 41 and a dust collecting hose 42 from the dust collecting cover 32. The hose adapter 41 is provided with a guide wing 47, and the guide wing 47 constitutes a swirl generator forming a swirl for the dust airflow. This prevents dust from remaining and being accumulated in the dust collecting hose 42.
