PURPOSE: To enable cassette type exchange of a filter cloth as well as to facilitate inspection and cleaning of a charging mechanism by constituting the titled apparatus in such a manner that the charging mechanism thereof is attached to a back surface of a hinged door and the filter cloth can be exchanged when said door is opened.

CONSTITUTION: In an outer enclosure 1 of a dust collecting apparatus, a front hinged door 2, a handle 3, a suction port 4 provided to the door 2 and each screen like electrode wires 5, 6 forming a charging mechanism 7 are provided. Moreover, in the outer enclosure, a metal net 8, a filter cloth 9 extended along a front surface of said metal net 8, a roll 10 of the filter cloth 9, a sprocker 11 winding the filter cloth 9, a cloth winding motor 12, an air blower 13, a high voltage generator 17 applying high voltage of said mechanism 7 or the like are further provided. By opening the aforementioned door 2, the filter cloth 9 can be exchanged and, further, because the mechanism 7 is exposed, inspection and cleaning thereof are facilitated.
