To provide a highly usable dust collecting bag for a vacuum cleaner effectively deodorizing malodor caused by dust for a long period of time and preventing the leakage of deodorant when storing a dust collecting bag.
This dust collecting bag for the vacuum cleaner is provided with a bag-shaped body 11 formed of a filter material such as a paper bag with air permeability and collecting the dust, a port core 13 having an opening part 12 for sucking the dust in the side of a suction port 26 of the bag-shape body 11 and being mounted on a vacuum cleaner body 15, and a shielding plate 14 preventing the falling of the dust in the suction port side of the port core 13. An interval between the bag-shaped body 11 and the port core 13 has an outlet 24 communicating with the opening part 12, and a storage case 17 storing the granular or powder deodorant 16 in its inside. The outlet 24 discharging the deodorant 16 of the storage case 17 is disposed with a cover member 27 covering the outlet 24 and freely stickably thereto, and the cover member 27 is disposed between the port core 13 and the shielding plate 14.
