Abstract:
PURPOSE: To remarkably improve the dust collecting efficiency around the dropping part of molten iron and slag, to enable the sufficient dust collection while reducing dust collecting air quantity and in this result, to improve the production efficiency.
CONSTITUTION: In the dust collecting device around the dropping part of the molten iron and slag in a blast furnace, the rotating direction of an artificial whirlwind (c) generated at a first dropping part A of the molten iron and slag and the rotating direction of an artificial whirlwind (c) generated at a second dropping part B (C) of the molten iron and slag are set in mutually the reverse direction and both artificial whirlwinds (c), (c) are mutually promoted and at the same time, the interference is prevented.
