Abstract:

To provide a dust collecting device which improves dust collecting efficiency and suction efficiency and an electric vacuum cleaner using it.

A filter (an external filter fixture 11) is provided in a dust box 10 placed in a suction passage, and a first cyclone space 22 is formed between the filter and the dust box 10. A cyclone cylindrical body 12 is provided in the filter, and a second cyclone space 44 is formed in the cyclone cylindrical body 12. An exhaust cylinder 26 is provided in the cyclone cylindrical body 12 and is placed eccentrically to the opposite side from an introducing part 45 introducing an air flow into the cyclone cylindrical body 12 in order to increase the size of the introducing part 45 for the air flow into the cyclone cylindrical body 12. The cyclone cylindrical body 12 is placed eccentrically to correspond to the exhaust cylinder 26.
