Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent dust from being discharged to the rotating outlet side of a circular saw blade of a fixed cover by allowing the dust to pass through a gap between a dust barrier member and the circular saw blade without the necessity to install a powerful dust collecting fan.
SOLUTION: This circular saw device is equipped with a circular saw blade 1 which is driven to rotate by a drive source and is supported by a supporting shaft 2 in freely rotatable manner and a stationary cover 3 for the rear part of the circular saw blade 1. In this case, the stationary cover 3 has a dust discharging aperture 4 for discharging the dust from the stationary cover 3 to its lateral part. In addition, arc-like ribs 5, 5 are provided, mutually opposite to the other inwardly with a specified space permitting the presence of the circular saw blade 1 between the ribs 5, 5, on both inner wall faces of the stationary cover 3 slightly to the center side of the circular saw blade 1 from the outer periphery of the blade edge of the circular saw blade 1. Besides, a dust barrier member which has the inwardly gaped opening of a U-shaped groove with a space left as specified so that the opening is present at the outer peripheral part of the blade edge of the circular saw blade 1, is provided on the stretch from the dust discharging aperture 4 to the rotating outlet side 6 of the circular saw blade 1 in the stationary cover 3.
