The dust collection and deodorization apparatus comprises an enclosure 16 having an air suction port 16a and an air discharge port 16b, an attachment roller 14a for attaching a roll paper 21 composed of rolled strip-like adsorption paper 21 at one end of the paper feed direction, means 14b and 14c for stretching the strip-like adsorption paper 21a along the paper feed direction, a motor roller 15a that takes up the strip-like adsorption paper 21a at the other end in the paper feed direction, a linear high-voltage electrode 12a stretched between the strip-like adsorption paper 21a and the air suction port 16a, a linear low-voltage electrode 13a stretched between the strip-like adsorption paper 21a and the high-voltage electrode 12a, a mesh-like ground electrode 11a stretched between the strip-like adsorption paper 21a and the air discharge port 16b, and a deodorization section 30.
