Abstract:

To provide a dust collection device and a dust collection method that can simply and reliably filter and separate zinc chloride from gas having a temperature equal or higher than a melting point of the zinc chloride and containing vapor of zinc chloride while suppressing pressure loss so that the zinc chloride can be reused.

A dust collection device includes: cooling members 10, 110, 210, 410 which cool gas that has a temperature equal to or higher than a melting point of zinc chloride and contains zinc chloride vapor and which condenses the zinc chloride into solid particles; and filtering member 50, 250, 350 for filtering the gas sent from the cooling members, the gas containing the solid particles of zinc chloride formed through condensation by the cooling members.
