The dust collection device of the vacuum cleaner secured to the body of the vacuum cleaner and separating the dust from the sucked air by centrifugally separating the sucked air sucked from outside includes the dust recovering cylinder 100 recovering the dust, a cyclone portion 200 inserted into the dust recovering cylinder 100, the cyclone portion 200 guides the sucked air in a vertical upward direction via the center of the cyclone portion 200 thereafter simultaneously flows the sucked air into the dust recovering cylinder 100 in the inner tangential direction of the dust recovering cylinder 100 in many directions to centrifugally separate the dust, and thereafter discharges the sucked air along the center side.
