To provide a new dust collection and heat recovery system that does not release an exhaust hot air discharged from a tea manufacturing machine to the atmosphere, reuses the exhaust hot air as an air source of a hot air generator, simplifies the whole system and is excellent in maintainability.
The dust collection and heat recovery system is a system that introduces the exhaust hot air W1 discharged from the tea manufacturing machine 1 to an inlet port 35 of the hot air generator 3 and recovers heat from the exhaust hot air W1. The system comprises a cyclone 2 between the tea manufacturing machine 1 and the hot air generator 3, introduces the exhaust hot air W1 discharged from the tea manufacturing machine 1 to the cyclone 2, and removes tea dust (a)contained in the exhaust hot air W1. The system comprises a filter 26 in a duct 16 for sending hot air from the cyclone 2 to the hot air generator 3, further cleans the hot air W2 from which the tea dust (a) is removed by the cyclone 2 and takes the hot air W3 in the hot air generator 3.
