To solve such a problem that a pleated static filter (folded in zigzag) is used for keeping a dust collection performance at a high level for a long period of time, but the filter is disposable since there is no way to clean the filter.
A dust collector includes: a rectangular static filter 105; and a filter frame 106 configured to enclose the static filter 105 at edge parts in the short-side direction, or to be fixed to the surface of the filter and support the filter, and having easy-to-bend portions and difficult-to-bend portions at intervals in the longitudinal direction of the static filter 105. The dust collector is characterized in that when the filter frame 106 is bent, bent portions are formed alternately in opposite directions. This allows the filter to have a pleated shape when in use, and meanwhile, to spread out to be cleaned or washed in cleaning, thus achieving reusable.
