Coke is charged into a coke tank 3 from a coke-receiving conveyer 1 through a coke-charging device 2, is taken out through a coke cutting feeder 4 and a coke transportation conveyer 5, and is supplied to the blast furnace. Ore is charged into an ore tank 9 through an ore-receiving conveyer 7 and the like, is taken out through an ore cutting feeder 10 and an ore transportation conveyer 12, and is supplied to the blast furnace. Dust collection hoods 19A to 19F and electrically operated dampers 20A to 20F are installed on points at which dust is produced while the coke and the ore are received and taken out, and a dust collection fan 15 collects the dust. Then, a fan drive power is reduced by opening only the electrically operated damper of the dust collection hood to collect the dust, and controlling a revolution speed of the dust collection fan into an airflow rate necessary for the dust collection, because the coke and the ore can be independently received and taken out at arbitrary timing.
