To provide a dust collector that does not vainly scatter dust in the event of cleaning work carried out by an operator while securing the safety of the operator by enabling him/her to carry out the cleaning work without climbing onto an elevated spot, and to provide a dust collector that does not require a space disposed thereabove for use in carrying out the cleaning work.

The dust collector that sucks dust from a suction port of a dust collector body and catches the dust by a dust-collecting filter disposed therein, is characterized in that the dust collector body is tiltably held relative to the frame of the dust collector so that the dust-collecting filter disposed in the dust collector body can be taken out for cleaning the dust collector.
