PURPOSE: To provide a dust collector for removing not only dust in the atmosphere of a factory, etc., but also smoke, noxious gas, malodor, etc., entrained in the dust.
CONSTITUTION: A normally open exhaust port is formed on the upper part of a sealed vessel 1 filled with liquid and also a normally closed takeoff port is formed in the bottom part. A rotating shaft pipe 2 vertically extending is disposed in the sealed vessel 1 and connected to a rotating drive source 5. A hollow disc 6 is provided coaxially to and in the lower part of the rotating shaft pipe 2 in a communicable state and the outer peripheral surface of the hollow disc 6 is formed into a discharge port and also, inside the hollow disc, plural blades are almost radially arranged centering the axial end of a suction pipe 9 for sucking dust contg. gas is made to communicate with the upper part of the rotating shaft pipe 2.
