In this dust cover receiving structure of the hydraulic buffer 10 provided with a seat rubber 30 between the suspension spring 23 and the spring seat 21, the seat rubber 30 comprises a spring receiving part 31 held between the suspension spring 23 and the spring seat 21, a centering part 32 fitted to a damper tube 11 for guiding the end of the dust cover 27 to align the dust cover 27 to the axial center of the damper tube 11, and a cover receiving part 33 mounted between the spring receiving part 31 and the centering part 32 for receiving the end face of the dust cover 27.
