PURPOSE: To reduce influence on the infrared ray wavelength light of external light and improve detecting precision by composing covers and a dust suction passage for covering a light emitting element and a light receiving element, of resin moldings for attenuating the transmission quantity of the external light by a specific ratio or more.
CONSTITUTION: On a part of a dust suction passage 2, opening sections are arranged confronted with each other, and confronted with the sections, a light emitting element 7 and a light receiving element 8 are arranged, and covers 9, 10 for covering the respective ones are arranged. Then, the covers 9, 10 and the dust suction passage 2 are formed with resin moldings having effect for attenuating the transmission of external light by 1/1,000 (30dB) or more. Besides, one side at least on an upper winding tape 14 and a lower winding tape 15 for composing a hose 5 connected to the downstream side end section 11 of the dust suction passage 2, is formed with flexible resin having the effect for attenuating the transmission of the external light by 1/1,000 (30dB) or more. As a result, the sensitivity of a detecting section 16 is made sharp, and fine dust can be also detected.
