To collect dust in air efficiently without using a filter paper (filter), and to thereby measure radiation in air.
Discharge electrodes 1 are provided in a cylinder inside a concentric cylindrical body, and discharge is generated between the discharge electrodes 1 and a dust collection electrode 2 provided on the inner surface of the outside cylinder, to thereby enable electric precipitation of the dust, and insulating plates 4 are provided between the discharge electrodes 1 and a cyclone movement is generated, to thereby enable centrifugal separation dust collection, and additionally mist is intermingled from a mist generator 6 with the air sucked from a suction hole 5, to thereby enable cleaning dust collection, and consequently, efficient dust collection becomes possible from large particle-size dust to small particle-size one. The dust collected by the dust collection electrode 2 in this way is subjected to radiation measurement by an unillustrated detector.
