To provide a dust press box which can easily compress garbage like plastic containers, packages or the like, and can mechanically carry out compression without damaging a garbage bag placed in a garbage box.
The firm garbage box for withstanding the compression with a reinforcing material and a double bottom is formed with plywood having a thickness of 12 mm. Draw latch receiving metal pieces are fitted to a lid 3 reinforced by the reinforcing material, and draw-latch locking metal pieces are arranged on the garbage box. The lid 3 and the garbage box are fastened together firmly by the draw latches 4 fitted at four positions. A nut fixing panel to which a nut is welded is fixed to a back side of the lid 3 by a screw. A hexagon headed bolt 2 is arranged on an upper part of the lid 3 and inserted in the nut fixing panel. A bearing and a bearing fixing panel are respectively welded to a lower end part of the hexagon headed bolt 2, and fixed to a compression panel by a screw.
