To efficiently prevent dust generation due to deposited ash.SOLUTION: The dust prevention method in an ash disposal site in a state that used coal accumulated ash 102 is accumulated and retained water 102b covers the accumulated ash 102, includes the steps of: installing a partitioning frame 300 surrounding the target area of dust generation prevention in the ash disposal site; draining the retained water 102b out of the partitioning frame 300; and spreading a dust prevention agent 401 in the partitioning frame 300.
