Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust recycling method capable of effectively suppressing failure on facility, effectively collecting dust with high iron percentage content and obtaining high iron yield safely by efficiently injecting collected dust into a converter.SOLUTION: The dust recycling method has a process of sprinkling exhaust gas containing dust by a wet type dust collector, a process of separating coarse particle from dust collection drain water by a classifier, a process of separating fine particle from water containing the fine particle by a thickener, a process of drying the separated coarse particle and a process of injecting the coarse particle into a converter before blow casting initiation, pH of the dust collection drain water is adjusted to 10 to 12, pH of the water containing the fine particle is adjusted to 7 to 9 and difference of pH of the dust collection water and pH of the water containing the fine particle is adjusted to 3 or more, water percentage content of the coarse particle in the drying process is 0.1 mass% to 5 mass% and the coarse particle with mass satisfying the formula (1) is injected at an exhaust gas air flow amount of 0.3 m/sec. or less in the injection process.
