To shorten a working time to improve work efficiency while reducing labor associated with the replacing and transporting work of a covering member for use in preventing the scatter of dust during cleaning work performed on a pipe.
A main filament body 20 is stretched above the pipe 1 laid on the inclined face of a mountain so as to extend along the pipe 1, and an auxiliary filament body 30 having a predetermined length corresponding to the work section A of the cleaning work performed to the pipe 1 is hung along the main filament body 20 and provided movably. The covering member 45 formed to prevent the scatter of dust produced during cleaning work is anchored along the auxiliary filament body 30 to cover the outside of the pipe 1 in the work section A.
