Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust seal which can moderately inhibit excessive increase of a fluid pressure at a sealing object fluid side.SOLUTION: A dust seal 100 includes: a reinforcement ring 110 fixed to an inner peripheral surface of a shaft hole provided at a housing; and a seal body 120 fixed to the reinforcement ring 110 and including a seal lip which is provided so as to slide relative to an outer peripheral surface of a shaft. The reinforcement ring 110 has a cylindrical part 111 fixed while tightly contacting with the inner peripheral surface of the shaft hole of the housing, and a spiral groove 111a ranging from one end side to the other end side in an axial direction of the shaft is formed on an outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical part 111.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
