Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust seal which prevents that the slide resistance of a shaft and a seal ring is increased, a twist is generated at a back ring when the pressure of an apparatus is raised, and the seal performance of the seal ring becomes instable due to the displacement of a position of the back ring.SOLUTION: A dust seal 10 is attached to an attachment groove 51 formed at either of two members which relatively reciprocate, and seals a clearance between the two members by slidably contacting with the other member. The dust seal 10 comprises a seal ring 20 which slidably contacts with the other member, and a back ring 30 arranged between a groove bottom 52 of the attachment groove 51 and the seal ring 20. An annular reinforcing plate 40 is interposed between the seal ring 20 and the back ring 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
