Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust suction adapter formed integrally with a drill which, when a diamond drill is rotated to bore a hole in concrete, can prevent powder dust from entering a high-speed rotation bearing inside the dust suction adapter that is used while being fitted to the drill.SOLUTION: A pair of discs 12 is provided between a pair of bearings 2. A first outside air introduction space 9 is provided between the disc and the bearing, and a second outside air introduction space is provided between the disc and a rotary rod 4 having a drill function. The first outside air introduction space is provided with an outside air inflow part 11 through which air can flow from the outside of a dust suction adapter 1. Powder dust generated at a blade tip of a drill is collected by a dust collection machine connected to the dust suction adapter through a dust suction hole 14 provided along a central axis of the rotary rod. At that time, outside air flows through the dust suction adapter via the outside air inflow part and the first and second outside air introduction spaces, and thus a risk of damaging the bearings due to an outflow of the powder dust in a bearing direction can be significantly reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
