A cycle measuring part 162 measures the cycle of the light adjusting signal transmitted by the signal transmission circuit 152. An ON-time measuring part 161 measures the ON-time of the light adjusting signal transmitted by the signal transmission circuit 152. A correction-value calculation part 164 calculates a correction value for the transmission characteristics of the signal transmission circuit 152. A duty-ratio calculation part 165 calculates a duty ratio based on the cycle measured by the cycle measuring part 162, the ON-time measured by the ON-time measuring part 161, and the correction value calculated by the correction value calculation part 164.
