SOLUTION: At the time of initial production of a disk loaded on this player, a disk discrimination code and user operation control information indicating whether or not Stop-operation and FF-operation recorded in a data part of attached video being not required to reproduce automatically such as advertizing video and the like can be performed are taken from a DVD video data, and they are recorded in a memory table 19 for each disk discrimination code. From the record time, the reproduction is performed from the data of the memory table and Stop-operation is immediately performed, and successively, Play- operation is performed in a disk in which Stop-operation can be performed. Thereby, operation is skipped to the first part of video by a characteristic of the player. When Stop-operation is invalid and FF-operation can be performed, FF-operation is performed until a title is changed.
