Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DVI light extension cable connection and external power supply input confirming device which stops power supply in an inadequate connection condition, and stops a sequence transmitted by video.
SOLUTION: The DVI light extension cable connection and external power supply input confirming device has a first detecting part 31' for detecting a (DDC+5 V) signal transmitted from a host H side and power supplied from an external power supply, a (DDC+5 V) signal transmitting part 33' for exciting the (DDC+5 V) signal to a monitor by detecting the (DDC+5 V) signal and the power with the first detecting part 31', a HPD signal source 22' for generating a HPD signal, a second detecting part 35' for detecting the HPD signal, a send and receive side fitting circuit power supply part 38' which is operated by the corresponding operation of the second detecting part 35' and supplies the power to the send and receive side fitting circuit, a third detecting part 37' for detecting the operation of the power supply part 38', and an HPD signal transmitting part 39' which is operated by the third detecting part 37' and excites the HPD signal to the host H side.
