Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an azo dye mixture which comprises a plurality of water-soluble fiber-reactive azo dyes and which is able to dye a fiber material, such as cellulose, wool, synthetic polyamide or the like, according to a printing process or the like in a thick color owing to a high color yield and a color built-up property thereof.
SOLUTION: The water-soluble azo dye mixture is obtained by mixing one or more of azo dyes represented by formula I [wherein M represents H or an alkali (alkaline earth) metal; D1 represents alkoxy or sulfo; R1 and R2 each independently represent H, a 1-4C alkyl, 1-4C alkoxy or sulfo; R3 represents H, a 1-4C alkyl or 1-4C alkoxy; Y1 and Y2 each independently represent a vinyl, β-sulfatoethyl, β-thiosulfatoethyl or β-chloroethyl; and X1 and represents F, B or Cl], and the or more of azo dyes represented by formula II (R4 and R6 are, respectively the same as R3, R7 represents H, a 1-4C alkyl, 1-4C alkoxy or sulfo; Y3 is the same as Y3; and X2 is the same as X1), thereby, a fiber material, such as cellulose, wool, a synthetic polyamide or the like, can be dyed according to a printing process or the like in a thick color owing to its high color yield and color built-up property.
