Title:
DYE-SENSITIZED SOLAR BATTERY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003272722
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a dye-sensitized solar battery allowing a transparent conductive layer on a translucent substrate to carry an n-type semiconductor electrode regardless of the material of the translucent substrate, and capable of providing practical energy conversion efficiency.

This dye-sensitized solar battery is characterized by comprising: the translucent substrate 1; the transparent conductive layer 2 formed on the translucent substrate; the n-type semiconductor electrode 4 carried by the conductive layer 2, and including titanium oxide particles and a binder containing a fluorine polymer wherein the content of F is 40-85 wt.%; a dye adsorbed by the surface of the semiconductor electrode 4; and an opposite electrode 5.
