Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a dyed lens which improves dyeability of an acrylic cured coating film, and thus enables a dyed lens having the acrylic cured coating film to be produced simply and at low cost.SOLUTION: A method of producing a dyed lens includes the steps of: applying, onto a lens base material, a curable composition comprising a polyfunctional acrylate compound and an acrylic silane compound and subjecting the composition to curing treatment, to form a cured coating film, and to obtain a laminate having the cured coating film on the lens base material; and bringing the formed cured coating film into contact with a dispersion-type cationic dye for dyeing treatment.
