Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a change-in-color grade value of dyeing fastness which is excellent in the coincidence property with a luminous decision extending over colors of all the density from light color to dark color by leading a correction coefficient into a discoloring grade value. CONSTITUTION:Three stimulus values X, Y and Z of a reference dyeing object and a sample dyeing object are measured by a colorimeter 1, they are inputted to a central processor 3 of a computer through an interface 2, converted to hue H, lightness V and saturation C of a Munsell color system by arithmetic means stored in a ROM 4 and a floppy unit 6, and from these values of a Munsell symbol HV/C, a color density value C* of a sample color, a color density value C0* of a reference color and its difference DELTAC* are derived, and based on them, a grade value NCN of change-in-color of discoloring fastness corrected by a coefficient alpha from the expression can be calculated within a range of <=5.5.
