Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a rotation variation at an output side in a wide rotation speed zone even if a lockup rotation speed is set to a low rotation speed, and to make a device compact in size as a whole.SOLUTION: This device comprises: a pair of plates 21, 22 fixed to a turbine hub 10; an inertia ring 24 arranged so as to be relatively rotatable with respect to both the plates 21, 22; a plurality of torsion springs 25 which elastically connect both the plates 21, 22 and the inertia ring 24 in the rotation direction; and a hysteresis torque generation mechanism 26. The hysteresis torque generation mechanism 26 generates variable hysteresis torque between both the plates 21, 22 and the inertia ring 24, and gradually reduces relative twist angles of both the plates and the inertia ring 24 by increasing friction between both the plates 21, 22 and the inertia ring 24 accompanied by an increase of a rotation speed.
