To provide a dynamic damper for a leaf spring which allows installation within a limited space and enables reduction of high frequency road noise or the like.
The dynamic damper comprises an inner cylinder metal fitting 1 which is provided with an annular outer flange part 3 outwardly protruded in a radial direction on a cylindrical part 2 and one end in the axial direction of the cylindrical part 2, an outer cylinder metal fitting 4 which is positioned coaxially outside the inner cylinder metal fitting 1 at a distance and provided with an annular outer flange part 6 outwardly protruded in a radial direction on a cylindrical part 5 and one end in the axial direction of the cylindrical part 5, a flange rubber part 9 which is interposed axially between the faces of outer flange parts 3 and 6 of inside and outside cylinder metal fittings 1 and 4 while connecting both in the radial direction by interposing between the both cylindrical parts 2 and 5 of the inside and outside cylinder metal fittings 1 and 4, and a cylindrical mass member 8 press-fitted into the outer peripheral part of the outer cylinder metal fitting 4. The damper is fixed on a mounting member 11 by a mounting shaft member 15 so as to make the axial direction of the inner cylinder metal fitting 1 in the vertical direction of a vehicle. The flange rubber part 9 is provided so as to be made in compressed or pulled state axially between the faces of the outer flange parts 3 and 6.
