Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamic image coding apparatus capable of reducing the quantity of information to be shared between coding sections for executing deblocking filtering over two neighboring regions to be coded by different coding sections.SOLUTION: Each of a plurality of coding sections (11-1 to 11-n) included in dynamic image coding apparatuses (1 and 2) determines a prediction condition to be applied to a first sub region within a first region including a pixel to which a deblocking filter is set, over a boundary between a first region, among a plurality of regions obtained by dividing a picture, to be coded by the coding section and a second region to be coded by the other coding section in accordance with a prediction condition to be applied to a second sub region that is neighboring to the first sub region while holding the boundary therebetween, and included in the second region including the pixel to which the deblocking filter is set, and determines a strength of the deblocking filter in accordance with a combination of the prediction conditions to be applied to the first sub region and the second sub region.
