Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a liquid crystal display device having a spacer with which the arrangement of a sponge spacer with easy assembly operation and good accuracy is possible.
CONSTITUTION: This liquid crystal display device has the frame-shaped spacer 13 consisting of a resin material of an opaque color or dark color, such as black, across the periphery of a photoconductor assembly 37 of a frame-shaped intermediate frame 42 and the inside frame of the intermediate frame. The frame-shaped spacer 13 is formed out of a sheet-like resin material by pressing, etc., and the spacer itself maintains a prescribed shape. Then, the spacer is mounted and placed across the periphery of the photoconductor assembly 37 of the frame-shaped intermediate frame 42 and the inside frame of the intermediate frame without intruding into a display region.
