The storage part 2 includes a file allocation table storage area 21 and a file storage area 22. The file storage area 22 includes a virtual file allocation table storage area 221. The virtual file allocation table storage area 221 includes information about hierarchical structure different from the hierarchical structure managed in the file allocation table storage area 21 as the management information of a virtual folder. Respective processing parts (11 to 15) in the file management processing part 1 conducts processing for operating a virtual file allocation table.
