Title:
DYNAMIC PRESSURE AIR BEARING TYPE OPTICAL DEFLECTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000193907
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To lessen the deformation of a sleeve, to prevent the increase in a noise level and to prevent the degradation in surface accuracy (jitter, etc.), by fixing the sleeve by screwing to a case via projecting parts.

The case 5 has a hole part to be inserted with the sleeve 33 in the lower part at its center. A circuit board, which is fixed with a stator coil and thrust magnetic bearing and is mounted with a detecting element, such as a Hall element, is fixed to its side wall. The points where the sleeve 33 is fixed by means of a lock screw 43 form the three projecting parts 5a at about 120° intervals on the same circumference. The hollow sleeve 33 is inserted into the hole part in the lower part at the center of the case 5 in such a manner that the front surface in the flange part of the lower part thereof is pressed to the projecting parts 5a. The sleeve is fixed to the case 5 by the lock screws 43 together with the bottom plate 41 in the state of covering the base surface of the flange part with a bottom plate 41. Since the sleeve 33 is tightened and fixed in the state that only the three projecting parts 5a are pressed atop the flange part of the sleeve, the sleeve 33 is hot deformed and the increase in the noise level and the degradation in the surface accuracy (jitter, etc.), are prevented.
