To provide a dynamic pressure bearing device having excellent bearing performance and capable of preventing a damage in a dynamic pressure generating section.
Recessed parts are formed at random in, at least, the back of the dynamic pressure generating section. Since these recessed parts respectively function as an oil reservoir, it is easy to supply lubricating oil in comparison with a conventional one in which an oil reservoir is formed adjacent to the bearing surface, and lubricating performance can be improved. Especially, since abrasion of the dynamic pressure generating section can be prevented by forming the recessed parts in the back of the dynamic pressure generating section to improve the lubricating performance, an excellent bearing can be obtained.
