PURPOSE: To provide a dynamic pressure bearing device by which a painting film is less apt to be shaven even if a rotary shaft and a bearing contact with each other at slidingly moving time.

CONSTITUTION: In a dynamic pressure bearing device composed of a cylindrical bearing 1 and a rotary shaft 2 having a dynamic pressure generating groove 3, the device is formed in a structure that edge parts 3a of the groove 3 are chamfered. Since the edge parts of the dynamic pressure generating groove are chamfered, even if the rotary shaft and the bearing contact with each other at slidingly moving time, a painting film is less apt to be shaven, and since abrasion of the painting film can be reduced, seizure can be prevented, and pollution of peripheral equipment by scattering of abrasion powder can be prevented.
