Abstract:
To provide a dynamic pressure bearing reduced in axial length and having a structure to facilitate feeding of lubricating oil.
This dynamic pressure bearing includes a communicating hole inside and at least one tapered seal, and is constructed so that the opening angle of the tapered seal within a range of 30-180°, a tapered seal wall surface length W1 is about 0.3 mm or more, and a sum of distances over which the lubricating oil travels from both sides of one end of the communicating hole exceeds the inside diameter of the communicating hole. Oil can be easily penetrated into the bearing.
