Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamic pressure bearing capable of securing sufficient bearing rigidity even in a hot environment and of avoiding contact due to thermal expansion of a member, to provide a spindle motor using the dynamic pressure bearing and to provide a disc driving device provided with the spindle motor.
SOLUTION: A taper seal part is formed adjacently to the other end surface positioned on the opposite side in the axial direction to one end surface of a sleeve facing to one surface of a thrust plate. The sleeve is fitted and fixed to a housing only on the circumferential side of the taper seal part, and a space is formed between the outside surface of the sleeve and the inside surface of a hollow hole of the housing by excluding the fitting part.
