Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce energy consumption in self-refreshing by providing a refreshing cycle doubling means to cause a refreshing cycle in a self-refreshing mode to be longer than that at the time of an ordinary refreshing mode. CONSTITUTION:The refreshing cycle doubling means to execute an action the refreshing cycle, which is longer than the refreshing cycle in the ordinary refreshing mode, at the time of the self-refreshing mode is provided. Consequently, the action is executed in the refreshing cycle longer than that in the ordinary refreshing mode, and an action time per unit time is shortened. Thus, the energy consumption at the time of the self-refreshing mode can be reduced.
