To provide a dynamo-electric brake device capable of avoiding influence of heat to a drive control device and capable of reducing a number of electric wires for connecting the drive control device and a sensor (detection means) by arranging the drive control device on a vehicle body side without arranging it in a brake force generation device.
The drive control device 5 is provided on the vehicle body side, a two-way multiplex communication circuit 33 is arranged in the brake force generation device 2 on a wheel side, and the brake force generation device 2 (caliper 19) on the wheel side and the drive control device 5 on the vehicle body side are electrically connected through three power lines 25, a shield line 34 and two power supply lines 35. The three power lines 25, the one shield line 34 and the two power supply lines 35 are constituted as a cable 36 together with a coat for covering them. The brake force generation device 2 and the drive control device 5 can be connected by the one cable 36 without deteriorating bending performance.
