Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of an e-mail system while maintaining secrecy.
SOLUTION: An e-mail delivery server is provided with a secrecy deciding means for deciding how high secrecy requested in e-mail is on the basis of a header portion of the e-mail or contents of a text portion, a notification mail delivery controlling means for delivering e-mail whose secrecy is decided to be low by the secrecy deciding means as it is according to a delivery protocol, and stopping the delivery of e-mail whose secrecy is decided to be high to subsequently deliver e-mail for notification which notifies the sending destination of the e-mail that the e-mail delivery server has received the e-mail according to the delivery protocol, and a stopped mail processing means for processing the e-mail whose delivery is stopped according to a prescribed stopped mail processing procedure to be carried out in response to an instruction from the sending destination.
