Abstract:
To provide an engine which effectively removes NOx in a combustion chamber by utilizing strong ultraviolet ray generated in the combustion chamber.
Photocatalyst is coated or formed by oxidization on at least parts 3a and 2a of a combustion chamber wall which comprises the inside surface of a cylinder, the inside surface of a cylinder head and the upper surface of a piston. Silver 8 is applied to these films so as to form a lot of spots.
