Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an eardrum tube which enables the viewing of the inside of an auris media easily in treatment to facilitate the insertion thereof from an excised part and achieves efficient discharging of an exudate or the like by forming a recess part inward in the circumferential direction of a tube comprising pure titanium or a titanium alloy while a through hole along the length thereof is made to vary in diameter.
CONSTITUTION: A recess part 19 is formed inward in the circumferential direction orthogonal to the length thereof in an eardrum tube 20 comprising pure titanium or a titanium alloy while a through hole 17 is formed along the length thereof in such a manner as to be different in diameter not even as a whole and made up of a hole 21 with the diameter thereof divided by the recess part 19 and a hole 22 with the diameter thereof along the internal wall surface before the formation of the recess part. The hole 22 with the diameter thereof along the internal wall surface before the formation of the recess part is larger than the hole 21. This eardrum tube allows the viewing of the inside of the auris media in treatment to accomplish the discharging of an exudate or the like efficiently thereby achieving better drain function.
